Friends of Belfast Botanic Gardens and the Belfast Botanic Gardeners were delighted to welcome Bethan Collerton (2nd from right in the photo) to Belfast Botanic Gardens today. Bethan is Head Gardener at Birmingham Botanical Gardens and a panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time. Gardeners gave Bethan tours of the Palm House, the propagation glasshouses and the Tropical Ravine and members of the Friends group showed her round the Global Medicine Garden. Thank you to the Alpine Garden Society Ulster Group for arranging the contact.
