We are privileged to be part of this partnership and to see the positive relationships between families continue to grow. It’s as important now as ever to make space for this, and we’re grateful to be apart of the journey.

Last week, we partnered with FP McCann to bring The Big Bridge Project to two of our school partners! The project allowed students to apply the seven weeks of community, teamwork, and communication exploration covered in our 'Knowing Me, Knowing You' programme to a real-world problem solving activity. We love it when students 1) see how these skills translate to future careers and relationships and 2) see that business partners care about their educational journey. As each student crossed the bridge, they cheered each other on. What a lovely culmination of their work!

It takes a whole school community to make a more peaceful shared society for all. Thank you FP McCann for letting students turn the metaphor of bridgebuilding between communities into a literal bridge!

Our lovely associate, Carole, facilitated a parent session with 33 parents from Mercy Primary School and Edenbrooke Primary School following their pupils' 'You've Got a Friend in Me' P1 programme. It's so great when parents come together to support their students' shared education journey!

Our team was delighted to be apart of this day and support good relations programming in the housing sector. What an amazing day of thoughtful conversations around fairness, inclusivity, and conflict resolution.

We are delighted that one of our board members, Patricia O'Neill, was awarded the Quiet Peacebuilders Award by the John and Pat Hume Foundation. Patricia has served our board for over six years following a career in the community relations sector.

It is a privilege to work alongside Patricia and have her wisdom and expertise. We are pleased she is being acknowledged for the strength of presence she brings to community relations in Northern Ireland.

That's a wrap! We just concluded four Buddy Up! Celebrating Diversity sessions with Scoil an Droichid, Donegal Road, and St. Malachy's Primary Schools. We had an amazing time getting to know the students and staff, and they enjoyed getting to know new buddies Fred the Moose and Polly Penguin (played by our talented facilitators, Anita and Mary!).

Our Celebrating Diversity programme is in the final stages of revision before we publish and print. We are so excited to bring this updated version to school partnerships this autumn! Contact us for more info about the programme, costing, resources, and TPL available for schools.
