Its been a difficult week for us here in our hometown of Belfast. The level of hatred for other human beings is difficult to fathom, the utter sadness as we witness these attacks on our community is hard to bear.
Today I spoke to a few of our business neighbours whose despair was tangible, we talked about the atmosphere or the ‘vibe ‘ and how it felt bad.
At lunch time I headed down the Lisburn Road for lunch bringing my heavy , broken heart with me for a sandwich.
What can we do? What conversations are needed? How can we change things?
The man on the left is my favourite Quaker ( yes I have a favourite one ) he is Baynard Rustin. A black gay activist during the Civil Rights Movement in America. See below 👇 for wise words 👌 from this brilliant man.

So I don’t know what anyone else is doing on Saturday 🤷♀️But at 1pm I will be doing some angelic trouble making at the Anti Racist March In Belfast City Centre.
