Remembering D-Day: The Dawn of Liberation ๐ŸŽ–๏ธ

June 6, 1944, marked the largest seaborne invasion in history. Operation Overlordโ€”encompassing the massive D-Day landings and daring airborne operationsโ€”ignited the spark that would eventually liberate France and Western Europe.

Today, we honor the courage of those who crossed the Channel to change the course of history.

TWN are the Lead Partner on the Women's ReconciliNation Project (WRP). The first Symposium of the project was held on 27 May hosted by one of the partners Ulster University on the topic of "Legacy & Reconciliation". ReconciliNation Project (WRP), is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Hearing from our inspiring panel who are actively working in the area of reconciliation was inspiring. Their stories, strength and perspectives reminded us of the impact people can have when leading community transformation.
