Co-Ownership We are a not-for-profit organisation that helps people become homeowners and the regional provider of shared ownership in Northern Ireland.

Since 1978 we have helped over 35,000 into home ownership. Co-Ownership is Northern Ireland’s shared ownership provider. It is an affordable and accessible route to home ownership. Since 1978 we have helped over 34,000 people become homeowners

Co-Ownership is signed up to the Chartered Institute of Housing’s 'Make a Stand' pledge. When you reach out to Co-Ownership about domestic abuse, you can expect us to handle your situation with care.

Domestic abuse can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, background or circumstance, and we are proud to support Domestic Abuse Awareness Week 2026 by The Housing Executive.
