This wellbeing programme is for new and expectant mums with a child aged up to 4yrs living in Colin area. Meet other new mums for peer support, build resilience and enjoy some time for yourself.

The programme will take place at Lagmore Community Forum.

Introduction to Sublimation Crafting

Discover the creative possibilities of sublimation crafting in this hands-on introductory session.

You’ll learn how sublimation works, explore the essential equipment and materials, and create two personalised finished pieces to take home: one ceramic mug and one flat sublimation item, such as a tote bag, plaque, or photo frame.

Perfect for beginners, this workshop combines practical guidance with plenty of opportunity to experiment, design, and make something uniquely your own.

🎀 After the success of the last program (over 90 applications) we will be running another colin calm and connected mums program
⭐️We have a jam packed 6 weeks planned, full of lovely activities and surprise goodies
🌷 This is a partnership program with Colin Sure start, Holistic Mums and Colin Neighbourhood Partnership
🚨 Criteria to book-you must be living in the colin area with a child under 4 years old and be available to attend all 6 weeks of the program. Please note we do not have creche and this is a parent only program

🧵✨ Holistic Mums Sewing Group – Week 3 of 4 ✨🧵
This week our wonderful sewing group focused on giving clothes a new lease of life through practical repair and alteration skills. 💚
Together, we:
👖 Turned up trousers for the perfect fit
🪡 Repaired and mended well-loved garments
📏 Learned how to place darts to improve shape and fit
It's been amazing to see everyone's confidence grow as they develop skills that help reduce waste, save money, and extend the life of their clothing. Every stitch is a step towards a more sustainable wardrobe and a stronger sense of self-sufficiency. 🌿
A huge well done to all our mums for their creativity, patience, and willingness to learn something new. We can't wait for our final session next week!

✨ Week 2 of 4: Sewing Skills Morning ✨
What a lovely morning spent together as we continued our sewing skills journey! 🧵💛
Today, our holistic mums group focused on building confidence with practical sewing techniques, sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and enjoying the simple pleasure of creating with our hands.
There was plenty of learning, laughter, encouragement, and connection as everyone developed their skills at their own pace. It's wonderful to see confidence growing each week and to witness the creativity emerging within the group.
We're now halfway through our 4-week sewing series and are so proud of the progress everyone is making. We can't wait to see what Week 3 brings!

🌿🧵 What a wonderful morning at our first sewing lesson! 🧵🌿
Today marked the start of our four-week sewing journey, and it was such a joy to see everyone gathered together, learning new skills, sharing conversations, and supporting one another.
From threading needles to making those first careful stitches, each mum took an important step in building confidence and creativity. Sewing is such a beautiful way to slow down, work mindfully, and create something meaningful with our own hands.
We're so proud of everyone who joined us today and can't wait to see how skills and projects develop over the coming weeks. Thank you for bringing such positive energy and enthusiasm to the group.
Here's to lesson one completed and three more inspiring sessions ahead! ✨
