After a long journey that began in 2019, Advice Space has finally secured a successful outcome in our longest‑running PIP appeal.

Our client, who lives with multiple health conditions, was originally refused PIP in 2018. We supported them through every stage — from the first tribunal in 2022, to taking the case to the Social Security Commissioner, who confirmed an error of law had been made.

Following a further adjournment in 2025, the tribunal reached a positive decision last month. The client has now received £10,720 in back‑paid PIP.

“It seems like a miracle to finally get justice,” they told us. “I am most grateful”.

A huge well done to our team for their persistence — and to our client for never giving up. Justice can take time, but it’s worth fighting for.

📢 Important Update for Clients & Partners.

From 1 April 2026, Advice Space will become the new provider of the Belfast Citywide Tribunal Service. This change will strengthen access to high‑quality tribunal support across Belfast.

💬 What stays the same?
✔️ The same experienced staff team will transfer to Advice Space
✔️ Your representative will not change
✔️ Your case will continue as normal
✔️ You don’t need to do anything — we’ll contact you if required
