🌟 Advice Space is growing, and we’re ready for our next big step.

We’ve recently secured two new service delivery contracts worth over £3 million across the next 3–4 years. With this investment, we’re strengthening our ability to support people and communities across Northern Ireland — and now we’re expanding our leadership team.

We’re recruiting a Head of Contracts and Service Development — a strategic role that will help shape how we deliver, develop and strengthen our services as we move into the next phase of our Strategic Plan.

👥 You’ll join a dedicated team of around 36 staff and 4 volunteers, supported by a committed Board of Trustees/Directors, and play a central part in driving our organisational development and impact.

Advice Space has secured £3M in new contracts, and we’re expanding our leadership team. We’re recruiting a full‑time Advice Services Manager to help lead our staff and volunteers as we move into an exciting new phase.

You’ll join a passionate team of 36 staff + 4 volunteers, work alongside our new Head of Contracts & Service Development, and help shape how we deliver high‑quality, life‑changing advice across Northern Ireland.

• Daily operations & staffing

Advice Space says a fond farewell to Pat Colton Services Manager, as he retires following almost 30 years of service from Citizens Advice Belfast through to Advice Space. We wish Pat a long and healthy retirement.

After a long journey that began in 2019, Advice Space has finally secured a successful outcome in our longest‑running PIP appeal.

Our client, who lives with multiple health conditions, was originally refused PIP in 2018. We supported them through every stage — from the first tribunal in 2022, to taking the case to the Social Security Commissioner, who confirmed an error of law had been made.

Following a further adjournment in 2025, the tribunal reached a positive decision last month. The client has now received £10,720 in back‑paid PIP.

“It seems like a miracle to finally get justice,” they told us. “I am most grateful”.

A huge well done to our team for their persistence — and to our client for never giving up. Justice can take time, but it’s worth fighting for.
