Community Flats Available! 🏠

These flats available are designed for individuals working towards independent living. 💚
Applicants must be able to manage their medication independently and have done so for at least the past six months. The scheme is not suitable for individuals with current alcohol or drug misuse issues.

One hour of daily support is provided, including:
• Emotional and personal support
• Managing daily living tasks
• Money management and access to benefits
• Engaging in external activities
• Personal safety support

🌱 Another month of celebrating our wonderful garden in Omagh!

There's nothing better than enjoying homegrown veggies and spending time together as a community. From planting and nurturing the garden to seeing the produce make its way onto the dinner table, it's rewarding to watch all the hard work come together.

Meet Lenny and his beautiful cat nook at our Maples service!

The entire corner was painted by Threshold's very own Noreen Wilson, and the result is incredible.🎨👏

It's so lovely to see such a creative and caring space for Lenny, where service users can relax, spend time with him, and enjoy his company. 🐾

🏡 Willow House is now accepting referrals for a one-bedroom self-contained flat.

This accommodation is designed for individuals working towards independent living. As Willow House is a housing support scheme, applicants must be able to manage their medication independently and have done so for at least the past six months. The scheme is not suitable for individuals with current alcohol or drug misuse issues.

Read their full story below 👇

"I have been a resident for 1 year and 9 months at Glendun House and in that time it has become a safe haven for me with the support workers and groups being essential. When I came I was unemployed, suicidal and couldn’t even go to the local shop without having a panic attack. The staff have went above and beyond during my stay, keeping me right, showing genuine care and concern and encouraging me to take part in groups which has lead to me improving.

I have found the keywork sessions especially helpful and my key worker has helped me build up my confidence and face my fears and overcome my anxieties.
Things did not change overnight but they have now changed, I now am working and don’t suffer from panic attacks at all, I’m also a craftworker at a company where I go Mondays and Fridays. I am thankful for continuing support and help!" 👏
