City of Belfast Advanced Motorcyclists is a local group of IAM RoadSmart.

CoBAM aims to advance the skills of motorcyclists in Northern Ireland by providing a supportive and friendly environment leading to advanced testing by IAM qualified assessors.

Yesterday we saw 16 members and 3 observed runs set off from infinity for a run down to Diamonds Restaurant Warrenpoint for brunch followed by an afternoon run.

Today we saw 15 members and an observed run leave infinity for a run down to the inn in Castledawson for brunch. The afternoon run took us to HTM Motorcycles to check out their open day before heading home with a quick pit stop at Ducati Antrim in Ballymoney.

Yesterday evening we saw six members and an observed run head out from Shane's Retail Park for what was the last Wednesday evening run of the year.

Our Saturday morning runs will continue to go ahead as planned from infinity motorcycles throughout autumn and winter weather permitting.

Wednesday evening runs will resume when evening light starts to pick up again in spring.

11 members out today, including 3 observed runs. Thanks to Neil Martin for leading an excellent run to French's Cafe & Bistro in Clough via Spa and Brian Mallon for tail duties.

After brunch we travelled to Hillsborough Castle for the arrival of the Blue Knights on their charity run for the NI Hospice. It was good to see Jim Clancy and Dave (who led us on our tour of Connemara on 2024).

Today we saw 10 members and an observed run head down through Counties Down, Armagh and Tyrone on our way to The Ryandale Inn in Moy for their usual excellent brunch before heading to Scarva for coffee and buns at HollieBerrie At The Tearooms and then on to Dromore for some very tasty ice cream at Grahams Ice-Cream Dromore.

19 members out today despite the weather. Through The Mournes for a great brunch at Avoca Hotel then on to Fodder in the woods cafe for coffee. Well worth a bit of rain for great food and company.

12 members, including 1 observed run, enjoyed the sunshine on Wednesday evening. The route took us along the M3, Craigantlet, Newtownards, Comber and Carryduff before ending at Sprucefield McDonald 's.

Today we saw 21 members, 4 associates and 4 pillions join us for a pillion day run around Co. Down stopping at The Peppercorn Bistro in Comber for brunch before heading to the Ulster Aviation Society to join members from other Northern Ireland IAM RoadSmart groups for a BBQ and tours around the hangers.

Thanks to David Peden for leading the group run and Peter Brunsden for tail duties.

A huge thanks to the two Tonys (Tony McAllister and Tony McAlister) from CoBAM and Bruce Steele and Stevie Sherry from IAM NI for all their work organising the event and a huge thanks to the volunteers from the UAS and everyone else who helped out to make the day a success.

Today we saw 17 members and an associate join us for a run through Antrim, Randalstown, Ahoghill, Portglenone and Bellaghy on our way to The inn Castledawson for brunch before heading to Ballymena Honda to check out the new CB1000GT.

Tonight we saw 15 members join us for a run through counties Antrim and Armagh starting at the Ulster GP pits to observe the eclipse with the run taking us to Aghagallon for a debreif and ice cream before heading on to sprucefield for a coffee
