Amazing Joshua 🤩
💙 A very special Gaitway Gang moment 💙
We are incredibly proud to share that this year’s Harry Withers Award has been presented to our wonderful Joshua.
Joshua is Gaitway through and through. He is caring, thoughtful, endlessly determined and always thinking about other people.
And if you need an example of just how special this young man is, this says it all…
With his birthday coming up, Joshua decided completely by himself that he wanted to raise money for Gaitway. Nobody suggested it to him and nobody helped him set it up. He created his own Facebook birthday fundraiser and asked his friends and family to donate to Gaitway instead.
That’s just Joshua.
He knows how much Gaitway means to him and his friends, and his instinct was to find a way to give something back and help make sure other children and young people can benefit too.
Joshua approaches life with such determination and resilience, but it is his kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness that make us particularly proud.
We know Harry would be absolutely delighted that this year’s Harry Withers Award has gone to Joshua. A truly worthy winner and a very special member of our Gaitway Gang.
