Day 3 Senior Summer Scheme - Emerald Park 🌟

Senior Summer Scheme had an amazing day at Emerald Park. They moved through the park with great energy, got on loads of the rides, and kept the momentum going all day. A lively, enjoyable trip and a brilliant day out for the seniors 😊

Thats us on our way home, we will be back between 5.00/5.30pm depending on traffic.

Day 2 Senior Summer Scheme - Eddie Irvines Go Karting 🏁🏎

Our Seniors hit the track at Eddie Irvine’s Go Karting today and had an absolute blast. Plenty of speed, plenty of laughs, and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish. A fantastic outing for the group!

🌞Day 1 Senior Summer Scheme - Lake Kilrea

The Senior Youth Group are off to Lake Kilrea this morning for a full day of outdoor fun and adventure. The young people have been buzzing for this trip, and the team are ready for a brilliant day packed with water activities, challenges, and plenty of laughs 😊

🌟The John Hewitt Cross Community Fun Day 2026 🌟

Thank you to everyone who joined us today, an absolutely amazing day was had by all. A huge thank you to our staff, Young Leaders and volunteers for their hard work and energy throughout the event.

We also want to extend our thanks to our fantastic vendors: Jumping Jacks Bouncy Castle Hire, Wee Bugs and Beasties, The Chocolate shop , Shankill road, Costume Hire NI and Belfast Facepainting for bringing so much fun to the park. And a big thank you to our wonderful First Aid Provider - MCP First Aid Training

Finally, a special thank you to Belfast City Council for supporting this brilliant community event 😊

🌟 Junior Summer Scheme – Thank You! 🌟

Our Junior Summer Scheme finished today with a Family Trip to Portrush, and what an incredible few weeks it has been. A huge thank you to all our amazing Juniors for joining us, your energy, smiles and enthusiasm made every single day brighter.

We also want to give a massive shout‑out to our brilliant staff team, dedicated volunteers and fantastic young leaders. Your hard work, creativity and commitment ensured our Juniors had a safe, fun and unforgettable experience.

Thank you to Eamonn Rooney Coach Hire for getting us everywhere safely and reliably — we appreciate you!

Our Juniors enjoyed an incredible range of activities this year, and we’re grateful to all the venues who welcomed us so warmly:

We also want to thank Belfast City Council for their support, and extend a warm welcome and appreciation to Boys & Girls Clubs NI for joining us as new supporters of the Junior Summer Scheme this year.
