Glen Walkers

Glen Walkers Walks are generally held on the first Sunday of each calenda month except in June/July/ August when additional evening walks take place.

The Glen Walkers are a group of similarly minded people with a kindred spirit who enjoy the thrill of walking in the countryside, especially on The Belfast Hills, and further afield – the Mournes in particular. Walks start at 10.00AM and finish around 4.30PM. however, the walks are fashioned in such a way that those wishing to finish earlier can do so. This does not apply to Mourne walks. We are a

lways keen to experience new walks and we hope to walk in the Sperrins in the near future. After a long walk – a warm fire, a cool drink and some good company is always beckoning in the Farmers Inn to help relieve those tired and stretched muscles.
