Jengana Jengana is a Northern Ireland based charity, focussed on improving the lives of those less fortunate than us, specifically in the slum areas of Nairobi, Kenya.

Jengana was born out of personal experience of life in poverty changed by the compassionate response of many people. It is a Christian charity where Christ's work in our lives compels us to respond in practical ways to restore dignity to people who have lost hope or who are living in extreme poverty. We respond in the following ways:

Educating orphans- Child sponsorship
Supporting/encouraging small scale businesses
Building or restoring schools in poor areas
Supporting rural churches in Kenya
Supporting women's self help groups
Buying anti-retroviral medicines
Providing opportunities for people to help others in lesser circumstances
Feeding programmes

Jengana usually brings large groups of mixed ages to Kenya to support our work. We are considering a smaller adult team (21yrs+) who will be focusing on encouraging those we work with in Kenya in a practical way. This team will have a Christian ethos and will be shorter (between 7 and 10 days). We are considering two time options : February (6th to 14th) or March (20th to 30th).

Jengana are delighted that this fashion show is being organised to support our work in Kenya. Stormont Parliament Buildings is the stunning venue for the event which will provide an impressive backdrop for the models as they showcase several local shops.
We are excited that the talented will be the host on the night.
There are some brilliant raffle prizes and an amazing goodie bag for everyone on the night.
