Community in Action 🤝

11/10/2026

We’re always looking for ways to bring people together and create more opportunities within our community.

As we continue activities for our men’s and women’s groups, we’d love to hear from local people, organisations and service providers who could offer workshops, activities, support or something new for our groups.

Please email [email protected] with your name/organisation, what you offer, costs, availability and contact details.

We’d love to connect and see how we can work together.

Thank you to Stacked Glen Road for looking after our volunteers on Friday with this delicious platter and drinks.

The team were flat out in the community with breakfast clubs for school children and at our hub providing support to people - this really made their day.

Community spirit at its best in the West!

🚨 LAST CHANCE FOR FREE WEST BELFAST SCHOOL UNIFORMS

This Saturday we’re opening our Pre-Loved School Uniform Hub for one final time before we close up until next summer.

If your children need uniforms, call in and take what you need. Everything is completely free and everyone is welcome.

📍 Community Solidarity Hub, 150 Andersonstown Road
⏰ Saturday, 9am–1.30pm

We’re not accepting any further uniform donations at this stage as we’re clearing the space and getting the Hub ready for Christmas.

Please spread the word so as many local families as possible can make use of what’s left.

The happiest place to be every Tuesday morning! ❤️

I got to be Roy Walker today as we played a special game of Catchphrase in the community with our women’s group.

Great craic and plenty of laughs throughout.

Well done to our winners, Josephine and Geraldine! 👏

This really is the happiest wee place every Tuesday morning, and with more than 20 ladies attending each week, our community keeps growing.

Everyone is welcome!

These two wee heroes in the community called in to see us this weekend with a massive donation of toiletries and period products to share with people through our Community Solidarity Hub.

What an incredible gesture and a brilliant example of young people looking out for others in their community.

Well done Hollyanna and Gina McCrea. You should be very proud of yourselves.

Community in action.
