📢 **Important EA Youth Service new policy implementation around E-Scooters!** 📢
With the rise in incidents involving e-scooters across Northern Ireland, the EA Youth Service wants to clarify its position for young people and their guardians. They want to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone at our Centre. To help with this, they have established a clear procedure regarding e-scooters and the law.
*Key points to remember:*
* For safety reasons, e-scooters are *not permitted* on any EA Youth Service premises. This position aligns with current legislation and prioritizes the safety of everyone accessing our services.
* If a young person arrives with an e-scooter, they won't be able to participate in the session while possessing it.
* Staff will attempt to contact parents/guardians to arrange for the e-scooter to be collected.
* E-scooters are not permitted on EA Youth Service premises, and staff cannot store or take responsibility for them.
We understand that e-scooters are becoming more common, and this procedure aims to support young people and families by promoting safe choices and ensuring our premises remain safe for all who attend.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep everyone safe💙💛
