Today 26th August 2026 is our DAY OF PRAYER for CSLI Belfast and Edinburgh.

If you are in our mailing list you will have received the Zoom link to join us 1-2pm for a special hour of prayer.

Even if you can’t make it on Zoom, please be praying for the work of Disciplemaking with CSLI Belfast and Edinburgh this year at some stage today.

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain who build it, let’s pray for Jesus to build His Kingdom here!

Glad to be with some of the Lewis Legacy team as they completed their week of prayer with a wonderful Compline service on Sunday evening at St Mark's, Dundela. Rev Helene Steed preached from Acts 14, reminding us that the most precious thing we can share is our faith in Christ. As plans develop to make the Old Rectory a doorway to discovery and discipleship we continue to pray with them the prayer for this project:

Almighty God, by your grace your servant C.S. Lewis became a faithful disciple and with eloquence and clarity preached Jesus Christ. As we build on his legacy, bless this initiative. May it preach the living Christ to men and women, young and old and help them to grow in faith. May lives be transformed in Belfast and beyond, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Many congratulations 🥳 to our C.S. Lewis Institute Edinburgh Programme Facilitator Joy Hadden on completing her two-year ministry apprenticeship with Carrubbers Christian Centre Edinburgh and on graduating from Cornhill Scotland.

We celebrate this milestone in the journey of Joy pursuing God’s call on her life and look forward to seeing how He continues to use her gifts in gospel ministry with CSLI Edinburgh and beyond. 🙌

Our final Pastor/Speaker network gathering for this season at the Old Inn on 8th June, delving into the increasingly relevant topic of “Do Muslims and Christians worship the same God?”. Andy Bannister of Solas brought his considerable expertise in Islamic Studies to bear, resulting in stimulating and in depth discussions afterwards. Also, an opportunity to browse the bookshelves of the Old Inn for some Lewis classics.

Sunday 7th June we joined with our good friends Holywood Baptist Church to learn from Andy Bannister of Solas on Sharing Faith in a Culture of Confusion. Great evening of teaching and also catching up with CSLI Belfast Fellows from across the years.
