A 33% discount might sound like a small change on paper. For students, it could be the difference between getting to class and being forced to stay at home.

This is what students have been telling us throughout our Stop Public Transport Cuts campaign: when transport becomes less affordable, access to education, work, healthcare and everyday life suffers.

These aren’t just numbers. They are real students telling us they cannot afford another cut.

We’re continuing to fight to protect the 50% yLink discount and keep students connected. Add your voice to the campaign and help us turn up the pressure. ✊🚌🚆

🚨 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! 🚨

Students are already stretched to breaking point. More expensive fares and fewer services will put education, work and a safe journey home further out of reach.

We’re standing with trade unions and everyone who agrees: STOP THE TRANSPORT CUTS! ✊

📅 Friday 9 October
📍 Outside Belfast Grand Central Station
🕒 1pm

Show up. Bring a friend. Make your voice heard. Together, we can show decision-makers that we won’t accept these cuts.

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ There can be no postcode lottery on our rights.

NUS-USI, NUS UK and NUS Liberation stand together against conversion practices. Everyone deserves to live freely and safely, without attempts to change or suppress who they are.

We’ve responded to Northern Ireland’s Conversion Practices (Criminalisation) Bill, backing a ban and calling on MLAs to protect LGBTQ+ people.

✊ Together, our student movement is demanding change.

🚨 We’ve responded. We’re keeping the pressure on.
Students are already struggling to afford education. Proposed cuts to transport discounts and late services would put even more barriers in our way.
We’ve submitted responses to BOTH Translink consultations and our campaign continues. ✊
