𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦

The scenes we've witnessed on the Stewartstown Road over the last few weeks have left many people in the community shocked and deeply concerned.

Speaking with local residents and business owners today, it's clear there is widespread frustration. One business owner criticised the lack of parental responsibility and suggested that Glider services should be suspended from 4pm at weekends, claiming they are bringing groups of young people into the area. Others questioned where the parents or guardians of some of the children involved were, with reports that some appeared to be as young as 7 or 8 years old.

Many residents say enough is enough and believe the community needs to come together to tackle the ongoing anti-social behaviour.

Should there be a greater police presence?
Do parents need to take more responsibility?
Are there changes needed to public transport or other measures?
How can the community work together to make the area safer?

Please keep the discussion respectful. We welcome constructive ideas and experiences from those who live and work in the area.
