Walking for All

Bringing adults of all ages and abilities together through free, friendly walks in communities across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.

Join others in your area who are already Walking for All. Walking for All is a new community walking programme in Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland that helps people of all ages and abilities enjoy gentle, regular walks in local spaces. Led by trained Walk Leaders from your local area, our walks make it easy to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with others in your community. We also offer Walk Leader training and support leaders to grow and develop their walk, helping to bring people together and improve health and wellbeing of people in their local community. Walking for All is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). It is prouldy led by Outscape, a charity and not-for-profit organisation in partnership with 19 organisations across Northern Ireland the Republic of Ireland.

Six new Walking for All walks have started across Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon in the last month 🚶🏻‍♂️‍➡💙

Here’s where you can join these new walks every week:

📍 The Friends of the Folly River Walk: Thursdays, 6:30pm
📍 Banbridge Walking Together: every other Tuesday, 10:30am
📍 Dromore Walking for All: Tuesdays, 11am
📍 Ballyhegan Community Walk: Thursdays, 7:30pm
📍 Pearse Óg Community Walk & Talk, Armagh: Wednesdays, 7:30pm
📍 Magheralin Quacky Walkers: Mondays, 7:30pm

Congratulations to all the Walk Leaders and walkers who got these groups started!

Ballyclare residents, pop the date in your diary - there's a new community walk in the area! 🗓️

Ballyclare Sixmile Walkers launches Wednesday 9 September, meeting weekly at Sixmile Park Car Park, 10am.

A chance to get outdoors, enjoy a walk, have a chat and meet some new faces along the way. 💙
