About Willow 🦔🤍

Willow is 1 and a half years old, and I’ve had her since she was 13 weeks old. She has some lovely white spikes on her sides.

Personality & Handling
Willow is quite shy and gets scared easily. When she’s frightened, she will ball up and sometimes hiss. She has never bitten anyone.

Once she’s comfortable, she loves running around and cuddling with you. She’s very active at night and absolutely loves her wheel. She has been around children before.

Food & Care
She eats a mix of dry and wet cat food, and sometimes I add a pump of salmon oil. She gets worms every few days, which I hand-feed to her because she isn’t very good at hunting them. I always watch her eat them.

She drinks from a water bowl because she was never very good at drinking from a bottle. I give her a bowl of food once a day, although I’m not sure of the exact amount she eats.

She has fleece bedding and uses a wheel. I use a heat lamp over the side where she sleeps, although I’m unsure of the exact temperature.

She can be picky with cat food but really likes the Iams kitten brand.

Health
As far as I’m aware, Willow is healthy and has no known health problems or food allergies.

Please pm to apply for Willow

Looking for commitment without someone stealing your duvet? 💚 Meet the animals with a lifetime membership at our sanctuary.

For medical, behavioural, or legal reasons, these VIPs can’t be rehomed, so they’ll be living their best sanctuary life with us forever.

By sponsoring one of our permanent residents from just £3 a month (or £36 a year), you’ll help keep them fed, healthy, and just the right amount of spoiled.

In return, you’ll receive:
🏅A personalised sponsorship certificate
🎴 An exclusive collectors card
📬 Quarterly updates
🎉 Access to sponsors-only events

Plus, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you’ve made a real difference to an animal that has nowhere else to go... and some pretty impressive bragging rights too.
Ever wanted a pet you don’t have to clean up after? This is about as close as it gets! 😅

Send us a message or visit our website to sponsor one of our permanent residents today 💚

🚨 ADOPTION PSA: Your new best friend is ready… are you? 🐍🦎🐢

We love seeing our animals find their forever homes, that’s kinda the whole point! ❤️

Ideally, once your application is accepted, we’d like your new family member to be home within around 2 weeks, this is one of the questions in the application also.

We totally get that life happens. Work, holidays, family commitments, the dog eating your diary… 😅 Whatever the reason, we’re always happy to wait a little longer when you keep in touch and let us know what’s happening

But, we currently have some animals with accepted applications who have been waiting **several MONTHS** for their homechecks/adoptions to move forward 😬😔 applications that we have to repeatedly chase for updates.

And here’s the problem…

📋Other potential adopters are waiting and some eventually give up.
🏠The animal stays in rescue longer than necessary.
✅And another animal desperately waiting for a place with us has to wait even longer💔

It’s basically a giant game of “Hurry up and wait!” and unfortunately, the animals are the ones stuck in the queue.

So if you’ve been approved to adopt from us, please keep those lines of communication open. If you need more time, just tell us! We’re reasonable humans. If you’ve changed your mind, please also let us know so we can move on to other applications!

We want to get our animals home, not keep them waiting in rescue, because there are always more animals waiting for us to make space for them. ❤️

Approved → Homecheck → HOME → Next animal gets a chance 💚

Thanks for helping us keep the rescue merry-go-round moving! 🎠
