Labour Relations Agency The Labour Relations Agency helps improve employment relations in Northern Ireland by providing workplace advisory & dispute resolution services.

Services are free, confidential and impartial. We have two offices, one in Belfast and one in Derry/L'Derry.

Starting in August we are going to have a monthly focus on an area of employment relations about which we can experience an increase in calls to our Workplace Information Service.

Our focus for August is on Bullying and Harassment. We have information and a variety of resources available at https://www.lra.org.uk/resolving-problems/types-problems/bullying-and-harassment

Or alternatively, call our Workplace Information Service on 03300 555 300 with questions on this topic. We work closely with the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland and will signpost to their team if the query falls beyond our remit.

🎉 2026 is a very important year for the LRA as we celebrate 50 years of public service, 50 years providing not just workplace dispute resolution services, but also resources, guidance and a telephone service to ensure employers, employees and their representatives understand their rights and responsibilities in relation to employment law and best practice in Northern Ireland. Helping to prevent disputes happening in the first place has become just as important as helping to resolve the issues that do escalate.

Our Workplace Information Service (helpline) will be unavailable from 2pm - 3.30pm tomorrow, Tuesday 28 July 2026, during a team meeting.

We hope it does not cause inconvenience to our customers. Please call us on 03300 555 300 as normal from 9am-2pm and from 3.30pm-5pm.

We’re taking to the Lagan Towpath on Sunday 5th July for our LRA Big Walk, all in support of our Charity of the Year - NI Children’s Hospice 💜🧡

📍 Meeting Point: outside Halifax Building, Gasworks

⏰ Time: 11:00am

🔁 Route: One lap (approx. 2.5 miles)

This is a relaxed, social walk - and everyone is welcome!
Bring along family, friends, kids, and even the dogs 🐶 and join us for a great morning while supporting an incredible cause.

On Monday 22 June our Workplace Information Service (03300 555 300) will be available from 9am - 2.15pm and from 3.45pm - 5pm. The phonelines will be closed temporarily in the afternoon in order to hold a team meeting.

We hope this doesn't cause inconvenience to our customers to schedule calls either before or afterwards.
