AA Veterans Support

AA Veterans Support Providing first class support services that are easily accessible for the service community in NI.

AA Veterans Support was established in 2011 to provide help, advice and guidance to those who serve or have served in the British Armed Forces and their families throughout Northern Ireland. We deliver many vital support services in our 'drop-in and training centre', which is situated just off the Crumlin Rd, Belfast. We also deliver outreach projects and welfare support to beneficiaries throughou

t Northern Ireland. The services we provide include counselling, respite, complementary therapies, employability support, support groups, benefits and housing advice and guidance, welfare assistance and more. We believe our service personnel, veterans and their families deserve our lifelong support, therefore we will endeavour to provide the necessary support services to enable those who serve or have served and their families to live an independent life.

Some of the team were out across East Belfast for a few hours on Saturday alongside Ballymacarrett Junior District LOL No. 3 as part of our joint fundraiser, which raised an excellent £885.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers for giving up their time, and to everyone who donated and supported our fundraiser. Every contribution makes a real difference.

Great morning at our Veterans Breakfast in Jumna Street Linfield Supporters Club. Plenty of camaraderie, good food and friendships, but more importantly, a chance for veterans to come together and catch up.

These mornings show the real value of staying connected. A simple chat over breakfast can make a genuine difference, and it’s always good to see familiar faces alongside new faces coming through the door.

A huge thank you toHarvey's uppercutss
for popping along and providing free haircuts, which is, as ever, greatly appreciated.

Thanks to everyone who came along, and to those who helped make it all possible.

Great morning at our Veterans Breakfast at Montgomery Road RBL. Plenty of camaraderie, good food and great friendships, but more importantly a chance for people to come together, catch up and look out for one another.

These breakfast mornings really show the value of staying connected. A simple chat over breakfast can make a real difference, and it’s always good to see familiar faces alongside new ones coming through the door.

Thanks to everyone who came along and to those who help make it all possible.

Last night we held a collection at Ulster Rugby ahead of their game against Leinster.

A sincere thank you to Ulster Rugby for facilitating the collection, to all the supporters who donated so generously, and to our volunteers who stood out in tough, wet conditions to make it happen.

In total, a fantastic £625.32 was raised to support our work. Every donation makes a real difference, and the continued support is genuinely appreciated.

A cold, wet day in Millisle didn’t stop our team. Our volunteers braved the conditions and raised a fantastic £1,111.98 in support of our work.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave so generously, and to EUROSPAR Millisle for allowing us to collect outside their store. Special thanks as well to Joanne for the warm welcome and hospitality — the sausage baps, tea and coffee certainly set the team up for the day.

Most of all, thank you to our volunteers who gave their time, without whom our fundraiser wouldn’t have been possible.

A sincere thank you to St Matthew’s Church, Scarva for their very generous donation of £1,000 in support of our work. The funds were raised through their recent Service of Remembrance.

We were also very grateful for the opportunity to speak to the congregation at the beginning of the service about our work and the support we provide, with a cheque presentation taking place at the close.

Together we can make a difference.
