Please, no one forget to sign this petition. Millions of people have been forced into poverty, and for no fault of their own. It’s 2021 and access to a stable currency is STILL not protected as a fundamental human right. Time for hope, time for change 🌎💸

The currency crisis in Venezuela is rarely talked about in the news & deserves close attention.

Imagine one year having the equivalent of £10,000 in savings, and the following year your £10,000 is worth a few hundred quid.

This is happening in real life. The poverty rate of Venezuela is now at over 90% of the population.

Two people with the same education, doing the same work and putting the same effort will not have the same possibilities of development if one has access to a stable currency and the other does not.

It’s time to change that.

The United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights provides that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights: to life, freedom, and security. But who can live and develop with dignity when a currency does not protect the value of one’s work?

On September 7 we’ll start a petition to submit a formal request for the UN to recognize access to a stable currency as a Human Right.

The first goal is to collect 10,000 signatures worldwide. To support this effort, the Reserve app will be open-access until the end of September. By doing so, we seek to raise awareness about this campaign, and encourage users to join.

This is a human cause that involves us all. This is an open call to organize ourselves during August. If you’re interested, we’d like to talk to you.
