I am so pleased to say I got home today. Now the wait for biopsy results which are due any day. Hopefully cancer hasn’t spread. Arrived home to such a beautiful welcome and balloons and banners and a hand painted poster board that I will treasure. I am so grateful to my neighbours for such kindness and love. While I was in hospital nurses and staff asked about Gilard and my Portrush iron man badge I wear. I handed out over 50 badges and all nurses and staff wearing them and thanked me for what I do. I asked if I could have a photo to share off nurses and staff wearing my badges on my Portrush iron man page and told me no problem. To see a complete ward wearing my su***de awareness badges is something that I am so proud of.
Never ever give up and keep fighting 🌈🌈❤️❤️xx

Over next 5 - 10 days the test results will be back from lymph nodes and stomach that was sent away for biopsy tests to see if cancer had spread 🙏🙏🙏🙏.

Had to have another echo scan this morning looking for leaks in stomach operation this is due to a bacteria that has started to grow in me. Things taking a bit of a tumble here. But I’m still hoping one day I repeat this amazing photo.

Good morning my lovely amazing friends from Gilard and me. As promised an update.
Surgery was a complete success and on the surface cancer hasn’t spread. Stomach that was removed and lymph nodes sent away to laboratories for testing and results will be 1 too 3 weeks. I am sipping a coffee as no food by mouth yet. Unfortunately I haven’t slept 🛌 n 3 days nurses say stress and worry with operation and heart ❤️ issues plus my depression will add to it. Letting me have a lay in this morning to try fall asleep.
Just need all clear from biopsy results, cancer you took on the wrong man.

Martin went home today he is cancer free only met him yesterday and such a lovely warm spoken man. lol he understands me today. Yesterday I was doped up. I just said to one of nurses love the view out to the city and asked me if I wanted moved. Thank you 🙏 A happy Gilard 🐶🐶 🐾 🐾 xx

Well my lovely friends I came through surgery and heart ❤️ got me there with Giggles Wilma Patton Brolly and Gilard watching over me. Won’t hear how it all went till tomorrow as too late. 🙏🙏🙏🙏sorry about texts I sent out to some people as I was still doped up on drugs and surgery came out as sorcher 🙈🙈
Now rest and rest Gilard already a super star ⭐ in hospital. As soon as I woke up from surgery I had arranged that he was with me. 🐶🐶🌈🌈xx

Stop at McDonald’s on route to my Giggles grave to talk to her and ask her to hold my hand tomorrow. Had to be done. Last McDonald’s before I can’t eat one for a long time. After 2/3 of stomach removed tomorrow. I want to thank everyone that has called to see me and messaged me and praying for me. Such kindness is what makes friends so special. Now it’s over to surgery team and hopefully my heart is now stronger to deal with operation.

OMG OMG YES YES YES. Told 4/6 weeks and today got email for appointment in 2 weeks.
I can not explain the relief knowing I can finally get this operation and get this stomach cancer removed.
All I can ask is that it’s got a flat tyre and not moved the little fe**er.
Now it’s a long 10 days wait and hope on 1st November i stand on the start line of New York marathon. That is my my goal to keep me going. My Giggles Wilma Patton Brolly please hold my hand and watch over me and Gilard to get through this xx
