DAME NI were delighted this evening to present Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Lisburn Group, our nominated charity for 2025, a cheque for £4650.00! This is the highest amount we have ever raised and we would like to thank everyone who supported us this year and HILLMOUNT for hosting our annual summer exhibition.

Our April club night was kindly led by our member who helped us create incredible Easter themed mini makes. An egg painting tableau emerged alongside an Easter egg wreath! It was egg-cellent fun! 🤩 🐣 Thank you Linda! 💙

For the first time ever, we have our Junior Members hosting a special area for younger visitors to the North Down Model Show, 12th and 13th April at Bangor Grammar. The Jnrs will be running layouts that children can practice their shunting skills on, and for our Neurodiverse visitors, there will be a tented zone to decompress, as well as quieter colouring activity tables to step away from the stimulation for a moment! A safe and welcoming space for all ages and all abilities! Come and meet our Jnrs and see their amazing skills on the Mill Park Layout!

Members at our March meeting this evening enjoyed a demo and workshop in sculpting with XPS foam. Everyone had a go at making their own field stone wall! 🪨🎨🖌️
