🎉🤾🏻‍♀️🤼🏼 Intercultural Children’s Day Celebration, What a Success! 🤹🏽🎉
MSCNI in partnership with ICDFNI proudly delivered an incredible Intercultural Children’s Day Celebration today at Lorag 🙌

Hundreds of amazing children from all over the world came together to enjoy a fun-filled day of multisport activities, laughter, and connection ⚽🏀🎯

We were honoured to be joined by the outgoing Deputy Lord Mayor of Belfast, Cllr Paul Doherty, marking his final day in office with us 👏

This event forms part of our ICIP Programme, funded by PEACEPLUS and administered by SEUPB, using sport and culture to promote:

🤝 Sport, Arts and Crafts.
🌍 Inclusion & Diversity
✊ Storytelling, Mobile Zoo and facepainting.

A huge thank you to all the children, families, volunteers, organisations, ImageNation NI and partners who made today so special 💙

MSCNI was honoured to be represented at the JLF Jaipur Literature Festival at Ulster University.

The festival provided a valuable platform for global thought leaders, academics, and writers to explore themes of history, identity, and intercultural understanding.

A key session attended was:

“Empire: Ireland, India and the Making of the Modern World”, featuring:

👉🏽William Dalrymple (The Anarchy, The Last Mughal)

👉🏽Nandini Das (Courting India)

👉🏽Jane Ohlmeyer (Making Empire)

This session, moderated by Christopher Kissane, offered critical insights into the historical relationships between Ireland and India and their continued relevance in today’s global context.

For MSCNI, engagement in events like JLF aligns with our mission to promote:

🎻Intercultural dialogue and understanding

👬Anti-racism and inclusion

🪇Community cohesion through shared learning

Such platforms are essential in strengthening relationships across communities and supporting informed, inclusive societies.
