Eglantine Community Garden

Eglantine Community Garden The Eglantine Community Garden, or the “Anarchist Plot” began life at a visioning day in Belfast Many new friends have been made. All are equally welcome.

The Eglantine Community Garden, or the “Anarchist Plot” began life at a visioning day in Belfast for community, peace, social justice and environmental activists in February 04. We now have a number of veg beds, a beautiful array of flowers, about 20 willow trees and some soft fruit. The garden has a community atmosphere, and neighbors who live in the nearby streets are using the garden as a relaxing place to sit.

🌸Garden get-together this evening🌸

We're very lucky to be situated in a multi-cultural neighbourhood of Belfast - the different ideas, influences, stories, and cultures that people bring to the garden enrich it massively.

To show solidarity with any members of our community who may be feeling worried or frightened at this time we'll be meeting in the garden at 6 this evening. We'll have a gazebo in case it rains, plus tea, coffee, and some snacks.

As ever, ALL are welcome ✊
