Our Executive Director, Tim Magowan, was invited to a St Patrick's Day reception at Downing Street yesterday, recognising the contribution of the 174 Trust to creating a better future for us all. 'I was honoured to be able to share how we support thousands of people from different communities to tackle marginalisation and division together' said Tim. 'As I chatted to leaders from different backgrounds I was struck that St Patrick's own story teaches us that we are stronger when we all work together for the common good'

Are we bystanders to racism or upstanders against it?

On Racial Justice Sunday, Maureen, from our Circle of Change, shared stories on Radio Ulster highlighting the 'horrific' impact of racism she had experienced in lots of different settings in Northern Ireland.

Tim, our Executive Director, shared how stories like Maureen's had challenged him personally and professionally to do more to tackle the problem.

Listen in to Maureen, our Executive Director, Tim, and bestselling author and historian Jemar Tisby discussing how we all need to tackle racism together :

Racial Justice, Memory Manipulation, RE Curriculum.
