Please share. Music is a great healer, but you don’t have to just listen. Its good to get together and sing! Tonight YOU can join the United Church Choir. The first rehearsal will be Thursday 20th August 2026, at 7pm in Whitehead Congregational Church (33 Chester Avenue, Whitehead, County Antrim, BT38 9QQ).

The choir will perform at a service as part of the Music and Mind Festival on 30th August at 3.30pm.

(We hear there will be another choir practice session next week, Thursday 27th August 2026, 7pm in the church.)

Join us for the night walk to the lighthouse, a FREE Music and Mind event that has become a popular favourite.

Do please bring a torch. If you've always wondered what the beams of the lighthouse look like at night, THIS is your one chance a year to join a group who go there as evening falls. Note the walk includes steep flights of steps. Friday 28th August 2026 from 9pm, meet at the start of the Blackhead Path.
