📢 16th Annual Vere Foster Lecture – A Wonderful Evening at St Mary’s University College
On Friday 19 June, St Mary’s University College hosted the 16th Annual Vere Foster Lecture. The event was opened by Northern Committee Chair Marty Lavery, who introduced our keynote speaker, Professor Peter Finn KSG, Principal of St Mary’s. Professor Finn delivered a compelling and thought-provoking lecture on ‘Initial Teacher Education in an Era of Transformed Continuity and Change’.
🎨 We were also delighted to announce the winner of the Brendan Harron INTO Art Competition, Caroline Gallagher Lavery. Her beautiful painting, ‘Meanders at Murlough’, was a truly deserving winner this year.
👏 A memorable evening celebrating education, creativity, and excellence.
