Today is the Feast Day of Blessed Edmund Rice. We think it's fitting to share the efforts of our friend Adam Devlin - member of our 'Edmund Rice in Society' group and former pupil of St. Mary's CBGS Belfast
He will walk from Derry to Belfast on June 5th to help raise awareness and funds for people impacted by Homelessness. Adam is inspired by the Edmund Rice mission to help those in need and a great example for us all. Please support if you can by donating and sharing

To mark Earth Day 2026, we attended the "An Economy of Enough" conference at Queen's University Belfast as part of the Reach '26 Arts & Sustainability Festival. A number of our recent projects were on display and we also facilitated a discussion table during the event to explore how education and creativity can be used to address inequality and foster a more compassionate society. We shared some of our latest writings and ideas and heard about Martin's experiences of working with groups in inner city Dublin - a big part of the inspiration behind our current project. Martin also gave us copies of his new publication "A Homeless God On Our Streets" - which includes contributions from some of our participants

At the People’s Kitchen we are under extreme pressure supporting those individuals experiencing homelessness & poverty, we have seen numbers present rise each week.

We need your support, if your able to donate,

- Sleeping Bags
- Underwear male/female
- Socks
- All non-perishable food
