Some good things are still happening and we were delighted to host an introduction to as part of the Belfast City Council . Held at .ps in East Belfast, in conjunction with the we had a lovely evening learning all about peas, tomato's, potato's, squash, herbs and slugs, plus everyone came home with their own pea plant. Also, massive thanks to Nalina, who made a variety of pea puree dips for us using nettles and garlic!

Our team and our Community Development Lead Lesley Cherry had a brilliant day at the NICVA Summit yesterday, despite the ongoing unrest and disruption across the city due to recent events. We have it on good authority that Lesley and the CEO of Engage With Age Michelle Bolton, smashed their break out session as well! On a more serious note, it was amazing to see so many grass roots level community organisations, groups and businesses come together, to share their knowledge, make connections and to keep addressing and working towards resolving the many issues within our society.
