ICE Northern Ireland Graduates and Students

ICE Northern Ireland supports and represents approximately 2,000 civil engineers residing and working across the Northern Ireland region.

The Graduates and Students Committee organises training evenings, competitions, social events and an annual conference for members who are working towards their professional qualification. ICE NI provides a forum for the exchange of specialist knowledge and practice in the civil engineering field, working closely with our devolved institutions to influence infrastructure policy.

ICE NI 5-a-side Football Competition ⚽

Starting 24th April 2025 (5pm – 7pm) at PEC, Queens University Belfast

10 teams will battle it out to be crowned champions and take home the trophy!

Max 7 players per team (Minimum 3 ICE members)

Entry Fee: £30 Upfront

All teams will play a minimum of 4 group games before knockout stages.

A list of scheduled games will be sent to each team prior to the competition.

Spaces are limited to 10 teams on a first come first served basis so to register your interest please email [email protected]

Delivery of the Belfast Flood Alleviation Scheme

Join us for an exciting event exploring the Belfast Tidal Flood Alleviation Scheme, a major infrastructure investment in Belfast City Centre by the Department for Infrastructure.

This session will explore the need for the scheme, the concept design approach, and the detailed design and construction of the circa 8km flood defence through Belfast City.

This is a joint event with CIWEM.
