The photographed below shows 1st Granshaw’s last session National Competitions Finalist minus two boys. This group had a very remarkable session as can be seen from the trophies. On the table we have Belfast Battalion Senior 5-a-side trophy, Belfast Battalion Senior Christian Faith Cup, Irish Region Masterteam Shield, Irish Region Badminton Trophy and finally The Boys Brigade UK National Badminton Cup. During the 2025-26 session the boys finished third in The Boys Brigade UK Senior National 5-a-side, third in The Boys Brigade UK National Masterteam competition and won The Boys Brigade UK National Badminton.
However the real trophies are the three young men in the centre of the photograph who today were enrolled in 1st Granshaw as Officer from left to right Lewis Young Company Section, Lewis Waters Junior Section and Thomas Bailie Anchors. Thomas early in the year was appointed DGL for Young Life working in Granshaw Presbyterian. Plus the first on the right Timmy Smyth another real trophy lead guitar in the youth praise band and a leadership role in Wyldlife Granshaw.
Trophies are handed back to be contested for. These real trophies will contend earnestly for the faith and continue the advancement of Christ Kingdom.
