Are you passionate about art, heritage, crafts,
animation, fashion, virtual worlds, digital storytelling or
creative technology?

Join ImmerseHER - a unique FREE cross-border
immersive arts programme running August 2026–July
2027, delivered by Dundalk Institute of Technology

💫 What you will do
• Explore identity, culture & Irish textile heritage
• Learn creative technologies including virtual reality,
augmented reality, digital fashion, screenprinting
textiles, motion capture, 3D scanning, photogrammetry
& 360° filmmaking
• Meet inspiring women working in the creative
industries
• Travel on exciting cross-border field trips
• Collaborate with other young creatives
• Create work for a public exhibition in 2027

Creative communities creating communities! ❤️

Last Thursday, Donegall Road Primary School and Fane Street Primary School unveiled the new “Living Together as a Community” shared housing mural on Malone Mews. Both schools had taken part in workshops to work together and find out what shared housing means to young people and inspire the design! 🤝

Afterwards, the classes journeyed to Morton Community Centre where they designed tote bags based on the mural which they could bring home. The activity gave the students a chance to display their creative skills while mixing together for a day of shared fun. 🎨

We’re delighted to have partnered with Ark Housing Association for this project!

Calling all artists, facilitators, and digital wizards! 📢🎨💻

We are on the lookout for new freelancers to join our roster of amazing artists, particularly individuals skilled in immersive technologies like AR and VR, multimedia production, music making, and multi-skilled artists who can put a hand to loads of different projects. 👨‍🎨

Our facilitation rate is £30 per hour, with prep rates dependant on projects and we offer opportunities to collaborate with a wide range of creative professionals and community groups – with some very excited projects lined up!

We officially launched the Create Against Hate NI: Activities Toolkit at Belfast City Hall 🎉

Co‑designed with young people and supported by Belfast City Council's community recovery fund, the toolkit offers creative, practical activities to help challenge hate and build inclusion in youth settings.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, especially Belfast Lord Mayor Cllr Tracy Kelly for officially launching the toolkit... and most importantly, to the artists and young people whose voices shaped the work. Shout‑out to Belfast Islamic Centre, Diverse Youth NI, Ormeau Road Roma Youth, Include Youth, and the Sandy Row Community Centre.
