Congratulations to Brother Lewis Hope from Diamond LOL 81 in Whitburn, Scotland who was elected and installed as Worshipful Master.

Brother Hope has been a regular in Belfast along with LOL525.

A few of the 525 brethren travelled over to Scotland for this installation.

Brother Hope is District Secretary at the age of 23. Fantastic to see young brethren coming through the ranks and taking up senior roles within their District and own private lodges.

Gertrude Street Defenders LOL 525 pass on our best wishes to Bro Lewis Hope and all officers installed on the night.

We would also like to wish Sister Beth Galloway every success for her installation in the coming weeks.

An appreciation post for one of our own brethren.
Worshipful Brother Robert Cleland was presented his 50 year jewel back on the july Boyne Anniversary parade.

Robert took it upon himself to purchase a new set of Personalised LOL525 Mallets for both the Worshipful Master and Deputy Master. This was in appreciation of being presented with his 50 year Jewel.

Tonight at our monthly meeting, Brother Cleland presented the Mallets to LOL 525 Deputy Master Brother Jim Farr.
