On Thursday 9th July the Central Photographic Association (CPA) celebrated its 120th Year Anniversary (1906-2026) with an Exhibition and Commemorative Book Launch in the Belfast Central Library, opened by the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Belfast Councillor, Róis-Máire Donnelly.

We had an excellent turnout of members present and past and those from other members of local camera clubs affiliated to Northern Ireland Association (NIPA).

The book was launched and collected by the members who ordered a copy. Further copies available, an expression of interest can be placed on the CPA website: https://cpacameraclub.co.uk/cpa-120th-anniversary/

Our 120th Exhibition is on display at the Belfast central Library until the end of July.

The CPA continues to promote photography and to support anyone with an interest in the medium, regardless of experience or ability, and will be putting together our next seasons programme in the incoming weeks.

All new, past and current members are welcome to join us on Tuesday 1st September at our club rooms in the Morton Community Centre, Lorne Street, Belfast, BT9 6DU.

We had a great turnout at the postponed launch and prizegiving of our annual exhibition at the Belfast Central Library on Saturday.

Many thanks to all and in particular Johanne and her staff at the library and Ross McKelvey our judge this year.
