Bell Rotary House would like to thank everyone who joined us yesterday for our garden party. The sun was shining, stalls were fantastic and the laughs were plenty. Thank you to the local business’s who supported us with prizes & our volunteers and staff who came together to ensure our event was a success.

Some of our Bell Rotary House residents and staff went on a road trip today! A relaxing drive around the coast, then a walk taking in the sea air around the pier in Donaghadee. Bow Bells for lunch and a laugh and then a wee poke in Bangor. Thanks to Davy who looked after us all so well.

On this beautiful sunny day, what better way to spend the morning than getting creative 🌞🌸

Our residents had a wonderful time making these colourful paper flowers. Their beautiful creations are now proudly displayed in pride of place for everyone to enjoy, adding a bright and cheerful touch to Harberton Hall.

2026 marks a very special milestone in Abbeyfield’s story. 70 years ago, our founder Richard Carr-Gomm, registered Abbeyfield as a charity, setting in motion a simple but powerful idea: that older people deserve companionship, dignity and a place to feel truly at home.

This year, as we celebrate 70 years of Abbeyfield, we’re reflecting on where we began, how far we’ve come, and the difference we continue to make in the lives of older people across the UK and beyond.

We are inviting all friends of Abbeyfield Belfast to come along and join in our Celebrations at Harberton Hall on Saturday 15th August from 12-4pm. Everyone Welcome

Budding artists from Bell Rotary House are currently creating their master pieces! We enjoy a weekly staff led craft class. I am very impressed!
