Young Lives vs Cancer Northern Ireland Fundraising

A massive thank you to everyone involved with Grit for Good, who took on the extraordinary challenge of running 5K every hour for 24 hours!

Their incredible efforts raised £3,280 for Young Lives vs Cancer, with the same amount also raised for Northern Ireland Hospice and Challenging MND — an amazing £9,840 in total for three fantastic charities!

Even more impressively, this marks the fifth consecutive year that Grit for Good have taken on this challenge to raise vital funds for charity. What an incredible commitment!

We are so grateful for their continued support of Young Lives vs Cancer and for the generosity they show to other brilliant charities that rely on fundraising like this to continue their vital work.

To everyone who ran, organised, volunteered, donated or cheered the team on — thank you! Your determination, generosity and community spirit really do make a difference to the children, young people and families we support.

A massive thank you to Cycle 4 Christ and the Catherwood family, who have now completed their 10th annual cycling sportive in support of Young Lives vs Cancer!

This year's event raised a fantastic £3,500, bringing the total raised over the past decade to an incredible £53,471! 👏

What an amazing achievement and a truly special way to continue honouring the legacy of David Catherwood. ❤️

We are so grateful to the Catherwood family, everyone involved with Cycle 4 Christ, and all those who have taken part, donated and supported these events over the years.

Your continued dedication and generosity mean so much to us and help us be there for children and young people with cancer and their families when they need us most.

Huge thank you to Lurgan Bowling Club for raising a brilliant £1,100 throughout the last year for Young Lives vs Cancer. It was lovely getting out to meet you all and say thank you in person. Your support will make a huge difference in the lives of the young people and families that we support.

Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Lurgan Park on Sunday 18th October, you can run, jog or walk either the 5K or 10K — and help make a difference for children and young people with cancer and their families.

We'd like to wish Robbie and family the best of luck ahead of the Antrim Coast Half Marathon this Sunday 🏃

Robbie and his cousin Charlie, Andrew's brothers Ian and and Jack along with Ian's fiance Amy chose to tackle to Antrim Coast Half, along with the months of training and fundraising that come with it in memory of their friend, Andrew.

Andrew would have been 21 this year and absolutely adored running so taking on the Antrim Coast Half in his memory is such a special way of honouring Andrew and his passion whilst also raising vital funds for other children and young people facing cancer and their families. 💖

We really can't thank you all enough for everything you've poured into this. GO TEAM! 🤩

A huge thank you to the incredible Boyd family following their latest fundraiser in memory of their son and brother, Oran.

Their recent Quiz night raised an amazing £9,130 for Young Lives vs Cancer, a truly phenomenal total and another brilliant show of support from everyone who continues to get behind the family and their fundraising.

This latest even brings the Oran Boyd Live Forever Fund to an incredible £49,343 raised!

We are so grateful for the continued support. Your commitment to fundraising in Oran's memory is truly special, and every pound raised helps us be there for children and young people with cancer and their families.
