Are you looking to make a real difference in your community while picking up some pretty cool skills yourself?

We’re looking for volunteers to join our team at Dundonald Sea Cadets, and we’d love to have you on board!

Whether you’re a "salty sea dog" or have never even stepped foot on a boat, there is a place for you here. We have a variety of roles available—from instructional staff to administrative and committee support—and no previous experience is necessary.

FOR THE ADVENTURERS (Ages 10+):

The sun is coming out, and you know what that means—BOATING SEASON IS OFFICIALLY HERE!

Get ready to get out on the water and learn:

✅ Sailing & Powerboating
✅ Kayaking & Canoeing
✅ Marine Engineering
✅ First Aid & Navigation
✅ Plus, amazing offshore voyages on our national fleet of ships!

Make new friends, gain incredible skills, and find out what you’re truly capable of. Whether you’re competing in regattas or learning to tie life-saving knots, every day is a new challenge.

FOR THE PARENTS
Sea Cadets isn’t just about having fun on the water (though we do a lot of that!); it’s about giving your child a head start in life. Based on the traditions of the Royal Navy, we help young people develop:
