TS Broadsword. ’Supra et Ultra Imus’

That’s what I think our Motto should be because it means ‘We go above and beyond’

Why, well not only did we do two Marathon Rows last weekend but we have, to date, raised over £870 for the Air Ambulance.

At last nights ‘Celebration’ I was also impressed at the number and range of activities our Cadets were involved in over the summer, offshore trip, camps, boating qualifications, educational visits, ships visits, power boating, paddle sports, rowing - the list goes on.

So well done to our Cadets, a massive thank you to the adult volunteers who made it possible and to the parents who support us.

Dundonald Sea Cadets don’t do things by halves!

Our amazing cadets and AVs took on a sponsored marathon ergo row to raise vital funds for the incredible Northern Ireland Air Ambulance—and they completely smashed it!

Not only did they cross the finish line of one marathon, but they kept right on going and completed TWO!

That’s the equivalent of rowing from Belfast to Cairnryan in Scotland!

Through sheer hard work, incredible teamwork, and absolute dedication, our cadets pushed through to support a life-saving local charity that means so much to us all.

Dundonald Sea Cadets Sponsored Marathon Ergo Row for Air Ambulance NI! 🚁

With only 13 days to go, the Dundonald Sea Cadets are gearing up to row a full marathon distance (42.2 km) to raise vital funds for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland!
We will be completing our sponsored row across two dates:

* Sunday, 6th September
* Thursday, 10th September

What an epic week at Dundonald Sea Cadets!

If you want your summer to look a lot more exciting, this is what we get up to. From mastering Paddlesports and tearing it up with Junior Powerboating, to building skills you won't learn in a classroom—there's never a dull moment.

A massive shoutout and congratulations to four of our incredible cadets for officially passing their RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualification and picking up their licences this week! Hard work definitely pays off.
