💛🐻 We’re absolutely delighted to have received funding from BBC Children in Need to provide Occupational Therapy sessions for our children!

On Saturday, we held three fantastic OT sessions, filled with fun, engaging activities to help our children develop handwriting, hand strength, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 🌈✏️

A huge thank you to Aoife from OTNI for supporting our children and helping them develop new skills and confidence! 💛

A huge thank you to Newington Housing Association and the Brian Mullan Fund for their generous support. 💙

Through this funding, we were delighted to receive funding for music and dance sessions. 🎶💃🕺

We have thoroughly enjoyed every single session! It has been wonderful to see everyone getting involved, having fun, moving to music and enjoying the positive benefits that these sessions bring.💙

There really are no words to say goodbye to our beautiful friend and Together 21 Mum, Lisa Pascal, who sadly passed away on Monday morning after a long journey with cancer. ❤️

Lisa was funny, kind, warm and full of life. She had a beautiful smile and a way of making everyone feel special. She loved her family fiercely, and our hearts are broken for JM, Sophia, Chloé and Téo, and all of Lisa’s family and friends.

Together 21 will never be the same without her. We will miss her friendship, laughter and beautiful presence.

Lisa, thank you for the memories, the laughter and your kindness. You will never be forgotten. 💔🩷

🌟 September Oral Placement Therapy & Speech Therapy 🌟

A huge thank you to the wonderful Helen from , who joined us again this month for our oral placement therapy and speech therapy sessions. 💕 It’s always a pleasure to have you with us!

We’re so grateful for the lovely feedback we’ve received from families:

💬 “As parents, we have noticed the difference these sessions make to our family and being able to communicate with our daughter. But when school teachers and assistants are picking up on our progress, this has been a major milestone for us.”

It’s moments like this that make these sessions so special. 🥰 Seeing progress not only at home, but also being recognised by the people supporting our children in school, is such an incredible milestone.

💙💛 We’re so excited to be cheering on Seainin as she takes on the Belfast Half Marathon! 💙💛

Seainin, mum to Aoife, will be taking on the Belfast Half Marathon to raise funds for Together 21. 🏃‍♀️💪

We’re incredibly grateful to Seainin for choosing to support Together 21 and help us continue supporting children and young people with Down syndrome and their families across Northern Ireland.

If you’re around Belfast on Sunday, please keep an eye out for Seainin and give her a big cheer as she takes on the 13.1 miles! 📣💙💛

Makaton Signing for Babies & Families 🤟👶

Last week we had our very first Makaton session with our wonderful tutor, Gemma McNally ! 🌟

It was so lovely watching our little ones get involved, explore new signs and learn alongside their families. 🥰

The children had lots of fun learning signs for family members such as Mummy, Daddy, Brother and Sister, while enjoying a relaxed and interactive session. 💕🤟

It’s fantastic to see our little ones developing their communication skills through fun, play and learning together. 🌈

✨ Our sessions are now fully booked, with a waiting list for future sessions. Special thanks to for letting us use their room.

We can’t wait to see what our little learners get up to in the next session on Friday! 💛

Last friday we had our monthly meet up with Together 21 Youth Group .

We had the fabulous natasha from Clarkes Dance Studios , providing the dancing followed by a magic show from Andy !

We enjoyed the dancing , giggles & pizza & catching up with our friends 🤍✨
