There are many young people in Northern Ireland who care for someone else. A Young Carer is anyone aged between 8 and 18 who have a significant caring role. This could be looking after a brother or sister with Autism, looking after your mother who has a physical disability or looking after someone with mental health or addiction problems. . What we do:
The service offers Young Carers a break from their caring role. This is in the form of large group activities e.g. rock-climbing, arts and crafts and an annual residential. Small group activities and workshops focusing on being a young carer, issues affecting young people such as sexual health, young men and women groups. Information About Illness
