BURC The Belfast Programme Changing lives by improving English for employability. We do this through a 5-stage programme:

1. Initial language test and interview
2.

The BELFAST Programme improves the employability of adult job-hunters who are looking to build their English language skills so they can contribute more to the local community. Autonomous learning, using a range of self study material for GRAMMAR and VOCABULARY
3. Meetups in which learners have opportunities to use and practise the grammar and vocabulary
4. A Personal Learning Pathway for each ind

ividual, based on a diagnostic test appropriate to their level of English on the CEFR scale
5. Special Interest Groups, with a focus on English in the Workplace, Nursing, Hotel and Hospitality English, Job-hunting, etc.
