We have classes starting in September, running on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday for various levels. Pop in to St Johns GAA on Monday the 17th to complete forms to sign up. There is limited childcare places that will go quickly.

Our newcomer and ethnic minority communities deliver an exciting cultural experience with food, music, dance and art. Featuring foods from Syria, Palestine, Poland, Albania, Greece, Nigeria, Mongolia, Ireland and China. A wide range of diverse multi-cultural music and dance will be showcased from our community partner Beyond Skin.

Free event. No booking required.

NB: Free food portions will be served as samples and not full meals

Just a wee update on the ongoing works outside our centre. We have spoke to them regarding the fact that they have been blocking our driveway. They have agreed to move some of the cones to allow entrance into our carpark to drop of your children or attend programmes in the centre I am sorry about any inconvence this has caused people so far. But we are open as usual.

Sharing this opportunity from one of the other organisations who benefitted from the Bank of Ideas!

Belfast Belongs to All of Us is a brand new storytelling and filmmaking project for young people aged 13–18 across West Belfast. Over four Saturdays in August and September, we'll explore identity, culture, community and belonging through storytelling and conversation. We will then work with the team at Triplevision Productions to turn those ideas into short films that share young people's voices with a wider audience.

It isn't about acting or performing. It's about young people being themselves, sharing their own experiences, and telling the stories that matter to them. The project is especially aimed at young people from minoritised, underserved and underrepresented communities, because every young person deserves to feel seen, heard and celebrated.

Huge thanks to Belfast City Council for funding and to Arts Ekta for supporting this project and making it possible.

I would really appreciate your help getting this in front of the right people, whether that's parents, teachers, youth workers, or community organisations you work with who might have young people keen to take part. Sign-up is via this short form!
