Newhill Youth & Community Centre wishes to recruit the following part time temporary sessional post/s for the summer of 2026:


Job Title: assistant Youth Support Worker Summer Sessional Post/s

Location: Newhill Youth & Community Centre 261 Whiterock Road, BT12 7SX

Hours: Between 3 and 20 hrs per week

Salary: £13.57 per hour

Contract: Temporary part time sessional post/s 1st July to the 10th August 2026

Seasfaimid gualainn ar ghualainn lenár ndeirfiúracha ó Anaka agus gach uile imirceach, teifeach & iarrthóir tearmainn eile.

Today we came together with families from all over Belfast who have been too afraid to leave their homes over the last week and some who no longer have a place to call home after been burnt out or intimidated.

The kids got some much needed fresh air, they had fun playing and they got to feel safe for a few hours.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with our sisters in Anaka and every other immigrant, refugee & asylum seeker.

A big thanks to Bia Loch Lao for providing lunch, Anam for the drinks & snacks and every other person who showed up to lend a hand. We love our community ❤️✊🏻
