🌍 Earth Day 2026 🌱

Young Voices. Real Change.
Empowering young people to shape a sustainable, shared future.

This Earth Day, the SEPI Programme at Cooperation Ireland is celebrating the power of connection. By bringing young people together across communities, SEPI creates space for collaboration, understanding, and action on the climate challenges that affect us all.

We know that building a better future for our planet isn’t something we can do alone. It takes strong relationships, shared ideas, and a willingness to work together across borders and backgrounds. Through SEPI, young people are not only developing solutions for a more sustainable world—they are also building the foundations for lasting peace.

Because when we work together, we create change that benefits both people and planet. 🌿

Over the past year, the SEPI programme has empowered students to build connections, gain confidence, and develop real-world skills that go far beyond the classroom. From teamwork and problem-solving to leadership and creativity, the impact speaks for itself.
Now, we’re looking ahead and we’d love your school to be part of it.

Join a growing network of schools helping students unlock their potential, connect with new opportunities, and gain experiences that truly make a difference.

Co-operation Ireland is delighted to be working alongside The Irish Football Association on a programme that is making a real difference to grassroots football in Northern Ireland.

Applications are now open for the latest round of the Irish FA/DCMS Grassroots Facilities Investment Fund, with £2.775 million available to clubs, schools, local authorities and community organisations looking to improve and grassroots football facilities.

This funding is part of a wider £85m UK Government investment in grassroots sports and represents a fantastic opportunity to create better pitches and infrastructure at community level — supporting players of all ages and backgrounds, including the continued growth of women's football across Northern Ireland.

Awards range from £100,000 to £500,000 and will focus on natural grass pitches, artificial grass pitches (AGPs) and Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs).

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday 18 March 2026.
