Irish Methodist Youth & Children's Team Helping Young People and Children take their place in God's Mission

We are passionate about seeing a generation rising up and taking ownership of their faith and their God given potential to impact the world for Jesus in their everyday, in and through the intergenerational family called the Church. It involves representing and advocating for young adults, youth and children's issues within the whole life of the Church and beyond. It means training and supporting ministers, youth and childrenโ€™s workers and volunteer leaders and supporting families as they pass on faith to the next generation. It involves giving children, young people and young adults the opportunity to encounter God, for some for the first time, and develop their gifts and skills by participating youth and childrenโ€™s events and programmes throughout Ireland.

IMYC September Roundup!

September was a VERY busy month (which is maybe why this is a bit late...) with prep for Autumn Soul in full swing, training, and our new Pathway Volunteers starting! God has been moving in so many ways and we can't wait to see what He does in October!

School Assemblies
It is such a privilege to be invited to share in a school assembly. But it can also be a little daunting, especially when schools are full of a mix of ages, abilities, and ideologies. So how do we ensure that assemblies are an inclusive and encouraging space? Anita Gracie will share her advice in light of the changes to the NI Religious Education syllabus, and weโ€™ll chat together about our experiences and ideas. Letโ€™s learn and share together!
