We have received the following email ref Lane Closures next week :

In preparation for resurfacing work on Grosvenor Road in a couple of weeks, we need to undertake some work on the southbound lanes of Durham Street (north) before the Grosvenor Road junction (see attached traffic management plan).

We will be working on a manhole and connecting a drainage gulley and this means that the:-
• 2 southbound lanes will be closed from Athol Street to Grosvenor Road (Athol St will still be accessible)
• work will be carried out overnight on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June between 8pm and 6am.
• Diversion routes shown on the attached plan are in place at these times, access to College Square North will still be available to traffic coming from College Avenue (local access only, no through route (southbound) past Athol St)
• The lanes will be open again during the day

We have just recieved the following update from the Contractors ref Milner Street Works.

Please find attached the newsletter outlining site activity for the remainder of June and throughout July.
We appreciate that there will be a significant amount of activity in and around the Milner Street area during July. As a result, we have decided to postpone construction activities during this period to allow residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy these events with minimal disruption.
We will issue a further update in late July or early August outlining our planned activities for August.
Should you have any queries or require any clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to assist wherever possible.

Lots of rumours going around about this person being released but we can confirm via liaising all of today with PSNI that this individual has been charged with a number of offences and will appear in court tomorrow lunchtime .

We have been engaging with lots of residents today including gathering ring doorbell footage and calling to homes with the Neighborhood Police to gather statements and get as much info and footage as possible to help the police build as strong a case as possible .

We will continue to liaise with police tomorrow to get an update and will keep residents up to speed with what we know.

Huge thanks to everyone who sent footage through and who spoke with police today as this has been really helpful.

Well done to local residents for all they done today.
