So here is a very nice repair made to a completely shattered table leg.
Alan carefully glued and clamped the leg together and then drilled for three long dowels which were glued in to reinforce the leg. We hope that friend of the shed Sadie will be delighted with the work.

⛳️ Men's Health Week at the Men's Shed ⛳️

Today, members of the Men's Shed enjoyed a fantastic day out playing FootGolf! It was a great opportunity to get active, enjoy some fresh air, have a few laughs, and spend time together.

Men's Health Week is all about encouraging positive physical and mental wellbeing, and days like this remind us of the importance of staying connected, keeping active, and supporting one another.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make it such an enjoyable day. ⚽🏌️‍♂️

Another busy morning in the shed. We started by helping another local charity Tamhi Tackling Awareness of Mental Health Issues at their golf day by putting up some signage, then back to the shed for another session of Bodrhain making.

Today at the Belfast Recovery College at the Lanyon Building at No 10 Derby Street, Davy Archer and Jonathan Quail took items to a stall to display and promote North Belfast Mens' Shed to local people and other stall holders at a Mens Health Fair from 1-3pm. We provided a written update of North Belfast Mens Shed to Dawn Marie from the Recovery College.

Thanks to everyone who was in shed today. It was a lovely morning.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Festival of Learning event, kindly sponsored by Belfast City Council.

We had a fantastic day building bird boxes, learning new skills, and making new friends along the way. To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a lovely lunch together.

Thank you for being part of such a positive and enjoyable event. We hope to see you again soon

One of our guys made the comment “Good day enjoying the fun”
