The Rotary Club of Carrickfergus is a group of men and woman who have a strong sence of community . We work with young and old alike helping in our own local area and on small and some not so small world wide humanitarian projects.

Carrickfergus Rotary Club Past President, Sam Crowe was presented with an MBE for services to the Community in County Antrim.

Sam’s MBE was presented to him by the Princess Royal earlier this year.

CHEQUE HANDOVER ROTARY MEETING 02/02/26

President Gavin Millar presented cheques for £5,500 to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and Action Cancer. These cheques represented funds raised at the Tree of Hope, at Tesco, December 2025.

President Gavin thanked all those involved including Tesco staff and non Rotarians who manned the tree.

A huge thank you as always to the generosity of Tesco shoppers.

Carrickfergus Rotary Club Christmas Tree of Hope 2025 at Tesco raised a total of £11,000.

NI Children’s Hospice and Action Cancer will each receive £5,500.

Huge thank you to Tesco Carrickfergus, Rotarians and non Rotarians who manned the tree and of course as always to the generiousity of the local shoppers.
